Case Study: MBR City Excavation

The Challenge

A developer building a cluster of premium villas in Mohammed Bin Rashid City needed deep foundation excavation across several adjoining plots, with the high water table typical of the area and strict Dubai Municipality requirements for shoring and utility clearance before any digging could start.

Our Approach

Phase 1: Utility Scan & Shoring Design

Before a bucket touched the ground, we scanned for DEWA cables, water lines and existing utilities, then worked with the client's engineer to confirm a shoring plan suited to the site's soil and water table.

Phase 2: Bulk & Fine Excavation

Our CAT 340 and JCB 140 excavators handled bulk dig and trench work in tandem, cutting to the founding levels specified by the structural engineer while a Volvo A40G hauler kept spoil moving off site continuously.

Phase 3: Dewatering & Final Trim

With the water table close to the surface, we ran continuous dewatering through the dig and finished with a hand-trim pass to leave clean, accurate formation levels for the waterproofing and rebar teams.

The Result

Coordinated dewatering and continuous spoil haulage kept the excavation running without a single stoppage day, and the site was handed to the foundation contractor on schedule across all plots.
